Mix of Flowers for Beneficials

2.99

This is a mix of hardy annual and perennials that bear flowers which are good nectar and pollen producers for bees and other beneficial insects.  Attract them to the edge of your garden and watch the activity.  Enjoy the attractive display of flowers and herbs this year and with care, the perennials in this miix will keep on going for many years. Attracting beneficials will sometimes keep the less desired pests in check and attract pollinators to your garden.  This is a very diverse mix and the seed should be lightly scattered in well prepared soil, seeds should be barely covered with soil and watered lightly until the seedlings are established.  If the seeds were too thickly sown you can transfer small clumps of seedlings without disturbing their roots further apart to allow space for the plants to grow.  Needs sun to thrive and a bed that won’t be tilled over in following years.  Included are Bachelor’s Buttons, Bee Balm, Aster, Calendula, Dill, Poppy, Sunflower, Butterfly Weed, Coriander, Marigold, Zinnia, Clover, Cosmos, Fennel, Sweet Alyssum, Coreopsis, Ox-Eye Daisy, Coneflower, Candytuft and 15 more kinds.
